The Candidate Pipeline is where you manage all applicants after a role is launched. It helps you filter, prioritize, and take actions on candidates efficiently.
📊 Pipeline Tabs
The Pipeline tab gives you a unified view of your candidate pipeline, Mokka sourcing, and AI pre-interview stages. Use the lens switcher to view candidates from either the Mokka or the ATS perspective, and see sync status and AI pre-interview progress at a glance. Below are the key sections within the Pipeline tab:
Invited – candidates who received an invitation but haven’t completed the full assessment yet.
Sourced – This tab tracks candidates who have been sourced externally. Within the Sourced tab, candidates are organized into two main views to clarify their current status in the sourcing process:
- In Sequence: This view displays sourced candidates who are actively engaged in a sequence or are still under active consideration. These candidates have not yet reached a final 'exit' status.
- Ended: This view shows sourced candidates whose journey has concluded. This includes candidates who have been Recruiter Rejected, placed On Hold, or have otherwise exited the active sourcing process. To help you focus, only Strong and Outstanding candidates are visible by default in the 'In Sequence' view, along with any unscored candidates. Once a sourced candidate reaches an 'exit' status (e.g., On Hold, Recruiter Rejected), they are automatically moved into the 'Ended' view for historical tracking and further management.
All – Shows all candidates who completed Mokka assessment or whose invitation expired.
New – This tab displays candidates who have recently arrived in Mokka, usually synced from your ATS, and are awaiting their initial review or assessment.
Shortlisted / Recruiter Rejected / Auto-Rejected / On Hold – Candidates moved into these categories during review.
📊 Candidate Statuses
Mokka uses a small set of core statuses:
New – Candidates who have been freshly added to Mokka, typically synced from your Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and have not yet undergone any review by a recruiter. This status indicates they are awaiting initial assessment or screening.
Engaged – Candidate has interacted with the application or recruiter, indicating active interest.
On Hold – Candidate's application is temporarily paused for later review or consideration.
Shortlisted – Marked as a strong fit.
Recruiter Rejected – Manually rejected.
Auto-rejected – Automatically rejected when choosing answer with auto-rejection rules. These candidates do not proceed to full Mokka assessment and appear in a dedicated dismissed section.
🔎 Filters & Search
Search Bar – Quickly find a candidate by name or email.
Filters – Narrow results by:
• Score bands (Outstanding, Strong, Average, Low)
• Assessment type (Full, CV Only, Partial)
• Flags (e.g., integrity checks)
• Application questions (filter by candidate responses)
• Past roles score (enabled by adding the column in the view)
🏷 Candidate Tags
CV Only – Candidate has been scored from CV only, their invitation expired.
Partial – Candidate started but didn’t finish the assessment.
Invited – Candidate invited to complete the assessment.
Full – Candidate completed all required steps.
Updated – Candidate provided additional information / completed addition interviews steps and their profile has been updated with new data.
Rescored – Candidate profile has been rescored by the user.
Rescoring – Candidate profile is currently being rescored (usually takes less than a minute).
Tags appear directly in the pipeline to make candidate progress instantly clear.

Use the New tab to review the latest candidates.
Apply score filters to focus on top matches first.
Use flags as a signal to review carefully, not an automatic rejection.
