Two kinds of people can open a candidate's application in Mokka: your own team, and anyone you deliberately share a secure link with. Everyone else is locked out.
Your Team
Anyone logged into your Mokka account can open the candidates in your roles. What they see is always scoped to your company -- a logged-in recruiter only ever sees your candidates, never another company's. There is no way for someone on a different company's account to open your candidates, even with a direct link.
Secure Links (Sharing a Candidate Outside Your Account)
Sometimes you want to show a candidate to someone who isn't on your Mokka account -- a hiring manager, an interviewer, or a colleague who doesn't have a seat. That's what a secure link is for.
How it works: From a candidate, you share a secure link to that one person. When they open it, they confirm their email with a one-time code, and then they see just that candidate. They don't need a Mokka account, they don't need a paid seat, and it doesn't cost you anything.
What they can see: Only the candidate you shared. A secure link does not open your pipeline, your other roles, or any other candidate -- it's a window onto a single application, nothing more.
Secure Links Work on Every Plan
Secure links are available on every plan, including free trials. They are not switched off by default and there is nothing to enable -- if you can share a candidate, the people you share with can open the link. (If you've heard that secure links are disabled during a trial, that's not correct.)
Quick Summary
- Your logged-in team -- sees your company's candidates only, never another company's.
- People you share a secure link with -- see only the one candidate you shared, after a quick email confirmation. No account or seat needed.
- Everyone else -- has no access.
- Secure links work on every plan, trials included.
